Phil Gilbert Toyota Community Driven
In 2014, we have launched our ‘Community Driven’ program which formalises our community partnerships and donations. Our ‘community driven’ program is two tiered. Local Partnerships with a selected organisation in our neighbours with current vehicle needs.
We are very excited to support two local community groups through the donation of a fully maintained vehicle.
These two organisations are the Sir Roden and Lady Cutler Foundation and Auburn Youth Centre.
Community Driven - Auburn Youth Club
Auburn Youth Centre have a need to transport young people to and from training, to and from centre activities and to transport newly arrived youth around Sydney. Their vehicle will be out and about on the road daily.
They have developed a lot of great initiatives for the youth in our local community – these can be viewed at http://www.ayc.org.au
Community Driven - Sir Roden and Lady Cutler Foundation
Sir Roden and Lady Cutler Foundation are a wonderful charity whose specific purpose is to provide transport to those in need of it. This organisation makes a positive difference to so many people’s lives. They currently have seven vehicles and 30 volunteer drivers they make about 8000 trips a year transporting people to and from medical appointments, those with no other means of transport or entitlement to government benefits.
They also provide support and social interaction for otherwise isolated people. Our van will add at least another 700 trips a year to that total.
Further information about them is available at http://www.sirroden.org.au
Drive for Your Club
Do you have a clubs, sporting team or local organisation located close to one of our Dealerships and looking for sponsorship? If so, you could be eligible to register with us to receive a cash donation back to your organisation upon purchase of a vehicle through Phil Gilbert Motor Group.
We are also very excited to continue our partnership with NRL club, Wests Tigers.
In 2014, we continue our association as the Club’s Proud Community Partner and also thrilled to have an association with player, Adam Blair.
We have also partnered with Auburn Youth Council on a number of their events and look forward to our continued relationship with them.
